5. Affiliate links

WayRail includes affiliate links to third-party services such as hotel booking platforms (via Stay22) and experience providers (via Viator and GetYourGuide). When you click an affiliate link, the third-party provider may collect information about your visit through cookies or similar technologies. We earn a commission on qualifying purchases made through these links, at no additional cost to you.

These affiliate relationships do not affect our editorial independence. Our reviews and recommendations are based on personal experience.

6. Cookies and tracking

The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies. Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. We use the following types:

  • Essential cookies: Set by Cloudflare for security and performance. These are necessary for the Site to function.
  • Analytics cookies: Set by Google Analytics to help us understand how visitors use the Site. These collect anonymised data.
  • Affiliate cookies: Set by Stay22 and other affiliate partners to track referrals when you click an affiliate link.

Some browsers include a Do Not Track (DNT) setting. There is currently no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals. We do not currently respond to DNT browser signals, but you can manage cookies through your browser settings as described above.
